These are actually call Chunky Pecan Pie Bars. A terrific treat anytime of the year.
Crust:
1 ½ c Flour
½ c Butter
¼ c Brown Sugar
Crust: Beat flour, butter & brown sugar in small bowl until crumbly. Press into a 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 for 12-15 min.
Filling:
3 Eggs
¾ c Corn Syrup
¾ c Sugar
2 Tblsp. Butter (melted)
1 tsp. Vanilla
11.5 oz bag Chocolate Chunks
1 ½ c Chopped Pecans
Filling: Beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter & vanilla with a wire whisk. Stir in chocolate chunks & nuts. Pour evenly over baked crust. Bake at 350 for 25-30 min. Cool then cut into bars.
